Julian Wood are proud to announce the establishment of our latest green initiative, Read, Reuse, Recycle. Always looking to further improve on our current ISO compliant environmental policy and recycling program, we can now offer libraries to return all discarded books to Julian Wood to be either donated to communities in need or responsibly recycled. Books are not just dumped into a paper bin, but are separated into their varying grades of material before being sent to Australia’s leading sustainable waste handling company to achieve the best recycling outcome. This is a value-added service available to any library service across Victoria both metro and regional. Julian Wood will also work with libraries to minimise the carbon footprint of books being returned by utilising best practise transport options where possible. At Julian Wood, we are not only taking our own corporate social and environmental responsibilities seriously, but also supporting libraries to further improve their own.
